With 150+ hours of video content covering qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods research (as well as plenty of tips for research productivity), you’re sure to find the training you need to help move your research forward. With our standard membership, you’ll also receive access to our extremely supportive research community, allowing you to connect with other researchers and attend our daily live sessions.
If you’re not sure if our self-paced videos will suit your learning style, we offer a small selection of free courses that you can sign up for. These are a great way to sample our content and get a feel for the platform we use.

Frequently Asked Questions
You’ll receive all the support and resources you need to move your research forward. This includes access to the course library (over 130 hours of content) and downloadable PDF resources – new resources are added to the site monthly. You’ll also be able to attend the live ‘Shut Up & Research’ sessions we host each day – these are a great way to connect with other researchers. There’s a monthly Live Q&A to ask questions about your research and monthly live masterclasses to dive deep into a specific topic. In addition to all of this, we host an annual virtual conference and quarterly virtual research retreats. If you’re just interested in the video content, there’s a cheaper ‘lite’ membership that will just provide access to the videos.
Shut Up & Research sessions run daily and Live Q&A sessions and masterclasses are held each month. There’s also three day virtual research retreats held each quarter, and an annual virtual conference in December each year.
Absolutely not – we’d love for you to join us wherever you live in the world! Live sessions are scheduled at times that we hope will suit a variety of time zones. All live sessions are also recorded and can be watched at a time convenient for you. If you have questions about the content, you can post these at any time of day (we’ll get back to you first thing New Zealand time) and if you have a question you’d like addressed at one of the live Q&A sessions, you can email it to us beforehand if you’re unable to attend in-person.
All Research Accelerator content is provided in a single online platform – you’ll receive your login for this when you register. Links to live sessions, video content, training notes, exercise files, slides and quizzes can all be found here. You can also ask questions and interact with other attendees in the online platform if you’d like to.
