SPSS Made Easy

If you need to get up to speed quickly with SPSS and don’t have time to attend our SPSS Core Skills training, then this course is perfect for you. We’ll get you started with data files, help you understand how to perform basic analyses, and show you how to transfer your output into Microsoft Word so you can write up your findings. No statistical knowledge is required for this course as the focus of the session will be on the software rather than statistical theory.

By the end of this course attendees will have a good understanding of how to:

Set-up data files effectively to maximise analysis
Import data from Microsoft Excel and other sources
Manipulate variables (computing new variables and recoding)
Calculate descriptive statistics and statistical tests such as t-tests and ANOVAs
Work with SPSS output and transfer tables/graphs to Microsoft Word.
