A consultation with us can save you significant time, and will ensure you’re on track to produce a great piece of research. Whether you’re a novice or experienced researcher, we have a range of support options, which can be arranged either face-to-face or online.
Our experienced staff can advise on all stages of the research process, from initial design through to writing up, and from quantitative to qualitative. Research software skills are our speciality, including NVivo, SPSS, Zotero, EndNote, Evernote, XMind, Word and Excel. We enjoy teaching clients how to work smarter not harder with these applications so they can spend more time focusing on their actual research.
If you’re working in a research group you might like to consider booking one of our team sessions. Bring your project to our offices, and we’ll provide you with a quiet and uninterrupted space to work on your research, with expert assistance on hand. We can provide guidance on your research design, data analysis, and/or reporting along with advice on how to work successfully in a team. A session such as this will ensure you complete your project as efficiently as possible, saving you time and resources.
Frequently asked questions
We typically meet at our Auckland CBD office, but can also come to you if you’d prefer (travel costs may apply). For those not based in Auckland we can meet you online using GoToMeeting, which allows for webcams, screen sharing etc., and is just as productive as a face-to-face meeting.
As this type of assistance is individual/project specific it’s best to contact us to discuss how we can assist and what costs are involved.
We accept credit cards and bank deposit. We're also approved suppliers for the majority of New Zealand Universities and Polytechnics and can invoice your institution directly.
We’re researchers too, so you can be rest assured that any data or other information we view will be kept confidential. We’re happy to sign a confidentiality agreement for your project – send us one specific to your research or we can provide one for you.
We would encourage you to let them know that you’re coming to see us. Many students we work with have been recommended to us by their supervisors and you’re welcome to bring your supervisor(s) with you if this would be helpful – we don’t charge extra for this and would welcome their input to the session.
