QSR International have announced that the next version of their popular NVivo software will be released in October 2010. Features that we can look forward to are improved methods for working with mixed methods data, new automated tools to quickly grasp themes and patterns, and improved visualisation tools. The feature that the team at Academic Consulting is most looking forward to is the capacity for multiple team members to work with a project at one time. For further information about the changes and new features, visit the QSR International website at: http://www.qsrinternational.com/news_whats-new_detail.aspx?view=194 |
The instructor was dynamic, friendly, and professional. She was also a very good teacher and imparted information clearly and appropriately. Can't speak highly enough of her.
- Introduction to SPSS
Once again Lyn has done a marvellous job. The SPSS course this morning was excellent. This is the third time I've been to one of her sessions, and every time she is superb.
- SPSS Intermediate
May I thank you most sincerely for an excellent course over the past two weekends. Getting motivated for weekend study in front of computers doing statistics was not easy for someone like me, but I must say I thoroughly enjoyed the work and most of all learned a great deal relevant to my current research project.
- Statistics for Data Analysis
Lyn has an easy manner that doesn't make any one person feel awkward about asking for help. The clear layout of the handout means that I will easily be able to pick up the software at a later date and I have confidence now that I will be able to achieve this.
- Introduction to SPSS
Lyn is very competent and seems to inspire confidence. She is organised, thorough, clear and relaxed. Her handouts are a great resource. Jens is clearly well-versed in qualitative research - it was great to have him!
