How do I uncode text if I have accidentally coded it at the wrong place?

There are a number of methods for uncoding, some of which can be a little tricky. This is because text is often coded in multiple places and you need to be completely sure that you are removing it from the correct location. To uncode a piece of data:

  1. Open the node that you wish to remove coding from.

  2. Select the text that you wish to uncode.

  3. Right-click your mouse over the text and select Uncode Selection > Uncode Selection At This Node.

We prefer this method as it means that you can be absolutely sure that you are removing the coding from the correct node. Note that selecting the text (in a node) and attempting to delete it will not work!
