Individual or team consultations are a great way to ensure you're maximising precious time and resources for your research project, be it quantitative or qualitative. We can advise on all stages of the research process including:
- Research design (questionnaire/survey formatting, data collection techniques etc.)
- Data preparation and management
- Quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques
- Using research and data analysis software packages
- Working successfully with research software in teams
- Providing feedback on aspects of research reports, theses, dissertations etc.
- Ongoing support for your project as it progresses
Consultation sessions can be booked following a training course, in order to target your specific project's needs. Alternatively, if you are unable to attend a training course, you may like to consider booking some one-on-one training via a consultation session.
Times are available Monday through Friday and occassional Saturdays. Unless specifically requested, all consultation sessions are held in our Mt Eden offices.
"Bring Your Own" Project Sessions
In addition to booked consultation sessions, we regularly offer "BYO Project" afternoons and mornings. These sessions are an opportunity for you to bring your project into our Mt Eden offices and work on specific aspects of it, with assistance on hand as required. Sessions are 3-4 hours in length, during which we can offer you expert advice, along with excellent coffee from Altar Cafe downstairs. Group size is limited to four people in order to maximise opportunities for one-on-one assistance. These sessions are perfect for researchers who don't require intensive consultation sessions, but need a "helping hand" every now and then while working on a specific aspect of their project. Note that we also hold "BYO Project Days" at the Woodhill Park Research Retreat, in conjunction with Dr Jens J Hansen.
